We’ll Just Have to Eat Cake & Drink Wine

While every blog and email I receive mid-November onward has some mention of the official it’s-ok-to-eat-and-be-fat holiday, we found we could actually do a good deed and be thankful while stuffing our faces this year. Gernius.

Tipsy <– a black and white long haired kitten followed A home on thanksgiving eve and I convinced A to take her in for the holiday. To be honest, it didn’t take much convincing since Tipsy just loved the attention! She was bathed and fed and left to fend herself against betrayed Viki. A spent most of the holiday fighting allergies and being with the kitty. Me, I had an “old fashioned” holiday meal filled with family smiles and gossip. Which is the way I suppose it should be. N & P left a lil early but we ended up drinking and eating cake all day/night long. Of course now I am two days behind on my work so I’m spending the rest of the weekend catching up on school work and begging M to work with me so I have some motivation. Don’t ask me how that is coming along, we shall see! Since I spend most of my time on the ‘puter multitasking – here are my blurry eyed links for today. I haven’t really kept up with the black-friday shopping emails – there are just too many of them and my god, it doesn’t even feel like a bargain anymore!
