Little Luxuries

There is nothing streamlined about little luxuries! The exact opposite of modern, they are “inspirational” at best and waxed lyrical in grandmother associated poetry. Often enough the little luxuries – iconic in itself of what we perceive ourselves to be – are re-admitted in our lives as proof

exhibit A

1. Something inessential but conducive to pleasure and comfort
2. Something expensive or hard to obtain
3. Sumptuous living or surroundings
And a very faint line between these collectibles and a collecting problem… “Hoarding is the excessive collection of items, along with the inability to discard them” (Mayo Clinic) .
