This is the year.. classes of 1999, then 2001 and even later 2005 all turn a lovely thirty. Most of us have gotten married, birthed children, purchased dream homes while somehow maintaining a fabulous professional life. Some of us have barely kept up a commitment to write a blog. Oh and lose the numbers of those other people. Priorities.
But there is strength in numbers.
Because this year, all of us girls who are turning the big “uh oh” without the above list are gathering in Napa Valley. No children, just our plus-one’s or two’s, empty saving accounts, the people pleaser Rustom and tons of alcoholic fruit for scenery. On the agenda is dinner at French Laundry and a vineyard home with a heated pool. Heaven.
